Marcello Bianchi si è diplomato in violino, diciannovenne, col massimo dei voti, lode distinta e borsa di studio al Conservatorio “A.Vivaldi di Alessandria con Mario Ferraris. Si è quindi perfezionato con A. Mosesti e A. Mosca (musica da camera, repertorio barocco), S. Vegh e per sei anni con N. Chumachenco, seguendo al contempo i corsi di Tecnica Alexander tenuti da N. Renen. Successivamente ha brillantemente conseguito il diploma di viola presso il Conservatorio “G.Verdi” di Torino. Primo premio assoluto ai concorsi internazionali di Aberdeen (Scozia) e Vittorio Veneto, ha effettuato registrazioni televisive e radiofoniche per la RAI e la BBC ed incisioni discografiche. Collabora con Orchestre da Camera e Sinfoniche in qualità di spalla e solista sia al violino che alla viola e con varie formazioni cameristiche compiendo tournèe in Italia ed all’estero. Ha tenuto performances presso i maggiori centri musicali europei: Roma, Milano, Torino, Genova, Firenze, Cannes, Varsavia, Atene, Istanbul, Belgrado, ecc.

Nel 1994 costituisce con la pianista/clavicembalista Daniela Demicheli il Duo Bianchi-Demicheli (www.bianchidemicheli.it) con il quale svolge a tutt’oggi un’intensa attività concertistica in Italia e all’estero, occupandosi anche della riscoperta e valorizzazione della musica colta piemontese. In particolare, quale membro stabile dalla formazione nel 1997 dell’Ensemble “Lorenzo Perosi”, ha compiuto, in prima mondiale, l’esecuzione e l’incisione integrale (8 cd) dell’opera cameristica del compositore tortonese L. Perosi, sotto la direzione artistica di Arturo Sacchetti, per l’etichetta Bongiovanni (Bologna). Oltre ad essere frequentemente invitato a far parte della giuria di Concorsi nazionali ed internazionali, in compresenza con D.Demicheli tiene Corsi di perfezionamento e Master classes in Musica da Camera per archi e pianoforte e Corsi di formazione alla Musica Sacra Antica che si svolgono in Alessandria, nell’ambito del “Progetto Musica in S. Rocco”, nella sezione riguardante la Musica d’insieme per clavicembalo e archi. In collaborazione con C.Merlo e D.Demicheli, tiene annualmente il Master ”Il Duo nel repertorio per pianoforte ed archi” presso il Conservatorio “A.Vivaldi” di Alessandria, dove attualmente è docente di violino.

Marcello Bianchi obtained his violin diploma at the age of nineteen with full marks cum laude at Alessandria “A. Vivaldi” Conservatory with Mario Ferraris and specialised with A. Mosesti and A. Mosca (chamber music and baroque repertoire), S. Vegh and 6 years with N. Chumachenco, attending at the same time classes of Alexander Technique held by N. Renen. He has obtained subsequently a full marks diploma of viola at the Conservatory "G.Verdi" of Torino. First absolute award at the International competitions of Aberdeen (Scotland) and Vittorio Veneto, he carried out TV and radio recordings for RAI and BBC channels as well as record incisions. He counts several collaboration with Chamber and Symphonic Orchestras playing Violin and Viola both as shoulder as well as soloist and with various chamber music formations performing tour in Italy and abroad. He has held performances by the greatest European musical centers: Roma, Milano, Torino, Genova, Monza, Bologna, Firenze, Montepulciano, Sassari, Catania, Napoli, London, Paris, Cannes, Warsaw, Athens, Istanbul, Belgrado, Lugano, Locarno and more. In 1994, at the end of a run of individual interpretative close examination, he constitutes with the piano and harpsichord player Daniela Demicheli the Duo Bianchi-Demicheli (www.bianchidemicheli.it) based on a shared musical and performance style feeling. The Duo is today developing a intense concertistic activity in Italy and abroad, also promoting the rediscovery and exploitation of the piemontese cultured music. As stable member of the Ensemble “Lorenzo Perosi”, since its foundation in the 1997, he executed the complete work of the Tortonese composer L. Perosi under the artistic direction of Arturo Sacchetti. The performance was recorded on 8 cds for the label Bongiovanni (Bologna). Further more he is frequently called to belong to the jury of national and international Contests. Together with her colleague D.Demicheli holds courses of improvement and Master classes in Chamber Music for strings and piano as well as the Ancient Sacred Music formation Courses all helded in Alessandria within the "Music Project in S. Rocco", in the section regarding the Music of ensemble for harpsichord and strings. In collaboration with C.Merlo and D.Demicheli, he annually holds the Master "The Duo in the repertoire for piano and strings" by the Conservatory "A.Vivaldi" where currently he’s violin teacher.
